WIC Week Marsh Clean Up - Cumming Group

We are hosting a super fun marsh clean up, and we would absolutely love for you to join us! As you may know, the beaches are already cleaned every single weekend, so now it's time to tackle the marshes. This event will take place at the Cooper River Marina, and don't you worry, there will be tons of parking available for your convenience.

The fantastic folks at Charleston Water Keepers will be providing us with all the necessary equipment. We're talking gloves, bags, trash grabbers, and safety vests. Now, please keep in mind that we have to return the safety vests, grabbers, and gloves after the event (Sandy has got this covered). It would be super helpful if you could keep the clean gloves and vests separate from the dirty ones. Oh, and just in case we need some extra trash bags for returning the items, we'll have those too.

Remember to bring your trusty water bottle, but hold on a sec, we want to be environmentally friendly here, so let's avoid bringing any plastic ones, alright? But wait, there's more! Cumming will be so kind as to provide us with a water dispenser and some tasty snacks. Yum!

Now, when it comes to what to wear, we suggest getting those waterproof boots or tennis shoes ready! We're going to be getting our hands dirty, so make sure you wear something that you don't mind getting a bit messy. It's also a good idea to bring a change of clothes, just to be safe. Charleston Water Keepers even recommends bringing a couple of towels in case you need them. Better to be prepared, right?
