Join Ron Adams from Baker Roofing for a discussion on Accountability and Leadership in a Safety Culture

Ron is the Vice President of Risk Management for Baker Roofing Company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina.  In this position, Ron has responsibilities for worksite safety, insurance programs, claims and litigation administration. Baker Roofing Company is currently ranked as the second largest roofing contractor in the United States.  Prior to Baker Roofing Company, Ron has held senior positions in risk management and product development with major U.S insurance companies, as well as positions in sales management and marketing.   During his 37-year career in the insurance industry, Ron has developed risk management programs for the healthcare industry, transportation, construction and association based clients. These programs include the creation and implementation of risk management concepts coupled with insurance policy designs, resulting in overall organizational profitability and effectiveness.    In addition, Ron provides instruction and seminars to industry related organizations in the areas of worksite safety and enterprise risk management.   

Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from Virginia Tech and has completed the executive graduate management programs from the College of Insurance and the Wharton Graduate School of Business.  He holds the Advanced MESH from the Safety Council of NC, Worker’s Compensation Claims Law designation, Construction Risk Insurance Specialist and is an OSHA 500 Outreach Instructor.
