About Bob Lisi...

"The desire is to be the bridge between design and construction!

Bob is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University and Instructor at Trident Technical College, where he gets to influence young minds and inspire hearts by sharing his passion for construction and design through his teachings at school and church. "I believe in teaching the whole person - not in silo."

As the son of a soldier, Bob lived in various countries and states, and at an early age, he decided he wanted to be an architect or a teacher. Bob attended Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Architecture. After qualifying and successfully passing the registration exam, he became an Architect, registered in Kansas and Arizona. Bob practiced architecture for 20 years in Kansas, Arizona, North Carolina, and California. He then transitioned into Program Management and Owner Representative for ten years.

As part of a family move in 2005, he relocated to the Low Country - began work as a construction cost estimator for a design-build residential construction company, and rose to Executive Vice President. Eventually, he transitioned into commercial construction, where for the past sixteen years, Bob continues his work as an independent estimator and consultant for The Lisi Consulting Group.

Bob is familiar with a range of projects from residential to commercial health care, education and institutional facilities to naval facilities, and overseeing projects from $5,000 to $150 million. Throughout his career, Bob has been involved in a total construction value of $1.4 Billion.
